A plan that listens — not one that judges.

Most rowing apps hand you a calendar and expect you to live inside it. ErgUp recalibrates around the life you actually have.

Skip-tolerantMiss a day? The next session adjusts. Missed hard sessions are never "made up."
Load-awareHard sessions capped at 2 per rolling week, spaced at least 48 hours, never stacked.
Readiness-informedHRV, resting heart rate, and sleep from Apple Health shape each day's prescription.
Signal-driven deloadsThe engine backs off when your numbers say so — not when a calendar does.
Why this workout Today

Readiness Watch

A coach on every stroke.

ErgUp reads your PM5 in real time and talks back. Pace drift, zone changes, interval transitions — timed to the work, not a stopwatch.

Pacing cuesLive feedback against your target split. Ahead, behind, or holding steady — clear, not chatty.
Heart rate zones, lit in real timeZ1 through Z5 highlighted as you move through them. Pair any standard BLE strap.
No judgmentGo harder than planned? The app adapts silently. No guilt trip.

A baseline, and proof you beat it.

Day one is a 500m baseline — fully coached, 20-minute warm-up, the number everyone starts with. From there, scheduled re-tests tell the story.

Bring your erg. The rest is optional.

ErgUp talks to your PM5 over Bluetooth the moment you sit down. Everything else layers on as you add it — or stays out of the way if you don't.

Questions, answered plainly.

Do I need a Concept2 erg?
Yes — with a PM5 monitor. Models D, E, RowErg, BikeErg, and SkiErg all work. Older PM3 and PM4 monitors are not supported.
Do I need a heart-rate strap?
No. Without one, ErgUp still coaches pace, stroke rate, and interval structure. With one, you also get live heart-rate zones and effort-based coaching.
Does it work with Apple Watch?
For heart rate and readiness signals through Apple Health, yes. The workout itself runs on iPhone or iPad — Apple Watch is not the primary display.
What if I miss a week?
The program recalibrates. A short re-entry block of easy rows comes first, then your hard-day rotation resumes. Missed hard sessions are never "made up."
Is this for competitive rowers?
Not by default. ErgUp is built for adults rowing for fitness, health, and steady progression. Racers looking for elite race-prep should look elsewhere.
How much does it cost?
Free trial, then a subscription. Cancel anytime from your App Store settings. Full pricing on the App Store listing.
When does it launch?
TestFlight is open to early testers. App Store launch is coming soon — drop your email and we'll let you know.

All you have to do is show up.

The program does everything else.
